On Sunday, October 18, I was privileged to appear with an all-star cast at the Jazz Foundation’s 18th annual Loft Party in New York City. It was a crowded space at Hudson Studios, with three simultaneous rooms of music running for almost five hours.
I presented Jazz Foundation executive director Wendy Oxenhorn with a finished CD of the multi-artist project, My Foundation, a new song about the Jazz Foundation and the wonderful work that it does. I was honored to be able to sing with a handful of others on this CD.

Then I sang Misty, accompanied on trumpet by Dan Miller, who spent most of the last decade traveling with the Harry Connick Jr. Orchestra. We were in the Lenox Lounge, with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building outside the window. It was a great day!
